The Remote from Apple is a sleek and compact aluminum remote control for Apple devices that feature an IR port. When used with the Universal iPod dock, the Remote allows you to control songs, slideshows, and more. Plug your iPod into the dock and choose a playlist, slideshow, or video. You can use the Remote with your Mac to control Front Row. A menu-based, full-screen media manager, Front Row allows you to access digital content on your Mac just as you would on an iPod. Press the menu button and your desktop fades, giving way to the sleek Front Row interface. You'll be able to use it to control music from iTunes, pictures from iPhoto, videos in your Movies folder, as well as DVDs. You can adjust volume, shuffle, skip chapters, play slideshows, and more.
